SITEX Gives Back: Santa Clothes Club
SITEX Corporation wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for our strong ties to our community. The areas surrounding our headquarters in Henderson and our other locations are host to dedicated nonprofits and charities that share the values of the SITEX family and provide important services all year long. For the holiday season, SITEX has partnered with the Santa Clothes Club, a charitable organization in the heart of Evansville, Indiana.
That Santa Clothes Club (santaclothesclub.org) was organized in 1946 to provide new clothing for needy youngsters in the Tri-State, who would not otherwise be warmly clothed. Each year, its founders identified children referred by schools or civic groups, purchased the clothing, and distributed it to the recipients at a YMCA party a few days prior to Christmas. In November 1981, the Santa Clothes Club was incorporated as a non-profit organization and has grown into a yearlong effort, including an annual telethon and fund drive.
