9 Last Minute Halloween Costumes You Already Have In Your Closet

By Sitex Corp   /    Wednesday, October 28, 2015   /   , , ,

Some people can’t wait for Halloween each year, decorating their house on October 1st, carving pumpkins with glee and planning the perfect Halloween costume a couple months in advance. However, not everyone gets into the spirit of All Hallows Eve as early and you may be left without a costume, and just a few days to go. Don’t panic; we’ve got you covered. Here is a list of costumes that you can put together in minutes, and most of them can be created with items you already have in your home!

Superfan

This should be easy for any sports fan. Wear your favorite jersey with some awesome face paint and colored hairspray.

Tourist

Camera? Check. Fannypack? Check. Make your own I <3 NY shirt with markers and an old T-shirt and your look is ready for Times Square.

Scarecrow

You probably won’t be scaring anyone with this costume, but with just a plaid top, jeans, sun hat, and a little face paint, you’ve got a complete look.

Medusa

Stick gummy worms (or toy worms) in your hair and paint on some dramatic eye makeup for a turn as the monstrous Medusa. If you want to complete the Grecian look, create a bedsheet toga!

80s Kid

Side ponytails, neon everything, leg warmers – this look is all about pushing to the extreme so take your inspiration from music videos, not real life.

Risky Business

Probably the easiest costume ever – throw on a pair of shades, a white, collared button-down shirt, and some crisp, white socks. Epic dance moves optional.

Zombie

Whether your normal look, or last year’s costume, just zombify it! You can pick up a face painting kit, or just purple eyeshadow and red lipstick. If you choose to use fake blood, beware of its staining potential.

A Roadsign

Wear all black from head to toe, then draw your sign on cardboard/paper. Tape securely, or use straps to hold the sign up from your shoulders. Our pick: Deer crossing sign.

Ghost

The true classic. Cut holes out of an old bed sheet and throw it over yourself. Why mess with perfection?

However you choose to celebrate, have a happy and safe Halloween from your family at SITEX! No matter who you choose to be on Halloween, we can always help you look your best every other day of the year.
