While many consumers don’t give much thought to their trash bags, a business definitely should. A trash bag that tears as soon as you lift it out of the waste receptacle isn’t much help, nor are those which leak, smell, or cost an arm and a leg to keep stocked. To help you stay focused on your business, SITEX has added a selection of trash bags from 7 gallon to 60 gallon sizes for all your trash and recycling management needs.
One Liner, Many Uses

The bag you need will depend on what you need the bag for. Trash bag thickness is usually measured in mil, which is one thousandth of an inch (.001). Thicker bags hold up better to punctures and tears from construction materials, broken glass, and the like. For many businesses, a bag around .90 mil, like a kitchen trash liner, will serve just fine if it fits the size of your waste basket or receptacle properly.
The liner and the container should match in size as much as possible. The closer the fit of the liner, the less likely you would experience issues with tears from overstuffing or unused space. But what if you can’t find a bag the exact size of your receptacle? It’s better to go too big than too small. Smaller bags may slide to the bottom, leaving the chance for trash to miss the liner and dirty the container, and can’t handle as heavy a load as larger bags.
