How we conserve resources:
We help our customers’ businesses to go a little greener by providing the best in sustainable laundry processes for every shirt and linen we launder and every mat we wash. Our laundering system allows us to reuse about 30% of the water used in the first step of the process, the gentle soil and stain removal cycle.
We also use a heat reclamation procedure that takes away the need to constantly reheat the water in each cycle, saving time, money and water throughout the entire process!
Even our detergents support environmental sustainability because we’ve partnered with Washing Systems, which works to provide launderers like SITEX with NPE-free and phosphate-free detergent products. You can rest in knowing that these laundering solutions give your textiles the best clean while maintaining your high standards of environmental consciousness.
How do we set an example:
Outside of laundering and recycling, we make sure to provide environmentally sustainable product lines to our customers that want to maintain their high standard of eco-friendliness. These products have the “green seal of approval,” meaning that they meet even these high standards for sustainability.
In our offices, we reduce our paper usage with every opportunity— like making the shift to electronic billing! We’ve also optimized our fleet routes in order to reduce fuel consumption, and we’ve done it so efficiently that Business Fleet Magazine took notice.
