Outside Sales Representative

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote SITEX’s products and services by upholding the SITEX brand image and customer service promise
  • Solicit new business through cold calls, references, prospect cards, direct mail advertising, and telemarketing
  • Ensure weekly sales productivity by maintaining CRM database of leads, prospects and key accounts
  • Contact all new leads with a sense of urgency
  • Gather information about competition, including current marketplace information on pricing, service agreements, products, new products and other relevant data
  • Submit accurate and timely orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Engage with Support Service Department to facilitate installation of new accounts and learn about prospects and current accounts
  • Interact at all times with all parties (customers, prospects, managers, and team members) with a pleasant and professional attitude

  • Must be a self-starter and work well with limited supervision
  • Sales / customer service background preferred.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years professional business experience
  • Business-to-business sales experience and formal sales training preferred
  • Understanding of basic arithmetic, business and financial concepts
