Stock Room Team Member

Progressive, family-owned company is looking for Stock Room Production Candidate for its Henderson, KY location. The Entry Level Production positions will work as a team filling orders and producing items for Customer Sales/ Service Representatives for customer distribution at an acceptable quality level; scanning all garments by way of barcode or RF chips to track customer inventory by individual and to track in-house inventory; on schedule and in line with budgeted cost ensuring the goals of the company are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • All essential functions of a stock room team member are:
    • Stock- putting up new and used garments, grading garments and arranging orders for the TSS line
    • Pull- prepare orders for TSS line and Embroidery
    • TSS Line- Sew emblems and Barcode Labels
    • Scan- Scan daily garments and stage for routes
    • Emblems- Produce Garment identification labels, and emblems as directed
    • Check In- review soiled items and reclassify items as needed
    • Custom Apparel- Arrange items for customers, embroider or stage for screen print

Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent (GED)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquires from team members, customers, and management
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and more; proper lifting techniques required
  • Ability to stand; walk up to five miles per day; sit for long periods of time operating a vehicle; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; push; pull
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and practice safe work habits
  • Report timely to work and any work related or sponsored training or event
  • Must be able to embroider or have experience sewing
  • Must be able to work overtime (increases during the months of October- December)
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday ( some Saturdays may be required)
  • Must be to stand and work 8-10 hours daily
  • Must be computer proficient and have basic math skills
  • Must be able to differentiate between colors.
